In the spring of 2000, I walked arm in arm with one of my best friends on the Lower East Side. As we sauntered slowly across the street, a man greeted us with, “Well hello Miss Peanut Butter and Miss Jelly.”
We decided I was Jelly. And no, that doesn’t mean that I’m sugar sweet. I actually prefer salty sweet…but that’s another story for another time.
